A grey deck is a deck nobody uses
Wood that spent five months under snow comes out grey, with green in the shaded corners and a slippery film after rain. Composite holds onto its leaf stains. And pavers have grass in every joint.
The grey isn't just dirt: it's the surface layer of fibres damaged by moisture and UV. And the slippery film is algae — the real slip hazard on a patio, especially with kids or older adults around.

Low pressure on wood, always
Wood and composite never take high pressure: it scores the boards, lifts the fibres and leaves permanent marks. We work at low pressure with a cleaning solution that kills algae at the root, then rinse with the grain. On pavers and stone we can raise the pressure, adjusting so we don't blow out the joint sand.
We protect the surrounding plantings and rinse the area before and after.

Have the deck washed first. Stain and sealant don't bond to a surface still carrying algae and grey fibres — the finish peels sooner and you're back at it a year later. A proper wash, a few days of drying, and the product holds far better.

How much does it cost?
Depends on the area, the material and the number of levels. Firm price from a photo, free.
Will it damage my wood?
No, because we don't wash wood at high pressure. Low pressure plus cleaning solution: slower, but the wood keeps no marks.
Will my wood get its original colour back?
It recovers much of its natural tone, but not the look of new wood — deep grey in the fibres needs sanding or staining. We'll tell you straight what to expect once we see a photo.
Do I need to clear the deck first?
Ideally yes: furniture, barbecue, planters. If you can't, tell us and we'll work around it, but the result is better on a clear surface.
How long before I can use it?
A few hours to walk on it, one or two days of full drying if you're planning to stain.
